British Youth Championships 2022 Qualifiers

The British Youth Championships (BYCs) for all weapons (age categories U12; U14; U16 and U18) will be held on Saturday 30 April to Monday 2 May 2022 at EIS Sheffield, Coleridge Rd, Sheffield, S9 5DA. Qualifying fencers will receive an invite from British Fencing on 28 March 2022. Entry fees for the BYCs are being reviewed but likely to be £45 per entry (once finalised this will be published on British Fencing's website). In addition, fencers are expected to fund their own transport and accommodation. We will liaise with those fencers that qualify regarding these arrangements and an accompanied coach / supervision for the trip.

To qualify, you must compete in the Guernsey BYC Qualifier on Saturday 5 February 2022. Entries are via British Fencing's website (Sport 80) and will be held at the Rohais Badminton Hall. The scheduled events are in the table below. Entries are £12.50 per entry and closes at 5pm on Thursday 3 February. Full fencing uniform (including socks) and working electric equipment will be required. Water fountains are available and light refreshments will be on sale. We ask fencers to comply with the applicable States published COVID regulations regarding masks and LFTs for this event.
